The meeting
will be held on 25 Sep. -- 28 Sep. Participants please ensure
that you have arrived in Shanghai on 24 Sep. and come to our
reception center on the third floor of the SHAO building.
We will help arranging your accommodation, etc.
Meeting
location
The meeting
will be held in the conference centre of Shanghai Astronomical
Observatory (SHAO). Powerpoint or overhead- projector for
the presentations are available. Posters can be displayed
outside the lecture auditorium, in the reception center. Internet
connection is available on site.
Visas
Visas
are required for all foreign travellers to China. Please contact
the Chinese embassy nearest to you at least 6 weeks before
traveling. Formal invitation letters will be sent to you,
unless you choose no invitation letter when filling the registration
form.
Currency
Currency
can be exchanged at the airports, most hotels and banks. In
addition, ATM machines are also commonly available. Chinese
currency, the RenMinBi (RMB) is at present non-exchangeable
outside the country. Thus you may keep your exchange slip,
so that your remaining RMB can be exchanged back into your
own currency before departure.
