Abstract:
In this talk, I will briefly review the halo formation history which has been well studied with numerical simulations, then I will focus on what and how does the galaxy properties and scaling relations connect to the halo formation history. At last, I will shed light on how to advance our knowledge on halo formation history and its connection to the observed galaxies with the Hydro-ELUCID project.
